Call for Papers & Presentations
Modeling tools and case-specific modeling methods are essential enablers of enterprise modeling, supporting knowledge capture, collaboration, and organizational transformation. The 19th IFIP WG 8.1 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling (POEM 2026) invites papers and tool presentations on enterprise modeling tools, tool extensions, standards, modeling methods, and business case reports demonstrating the successful application of enterprise modeling toolkits or model-driven systems in practice.
We particularly encourage contributions from the OMiLAB community and related open innovation ecosystems, recognizing their significant role in advancing enterprise modeling through collaborative method engineering, model-driven development, and experimental tool innovation. Submissions showcasing OMiLAB-based tools, modeling methods, educational initiatives, or industry collaborations are especially welcome, as they demonstrate how open modeling ecosystems foster knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and AI-enabled digital transformation.
Tool vendors and practitioners are invited to provide an industry perspective through presentations on the implementation and adoption of enterprise modeling practices, tools, and model-based frameworks. Academic researchers are encouraged to submit papers on novel modeling approaches, experimental tools, or business case reports that stimulate discussion on the future of enterprise modeling, particularly in light of the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on traditional value creation processes.
By bringing together industry professionals, researchers, and the broader enterprise modeling community, POEM 2026 aims to foster knowledge exchange, inspire future research, and strengthen collaborations that advance the theory and practice of enterprise modeling.

Contribution Types
We invite short or long research papers, as well as presentation proposals without a paper:
- Short papers (5-9 pages) and long papers (10–12 pages): They may discuss the aforementioned topics, present case studies, tools, challenges, or experience reports. Tool demonstration papers are also welcome.
- Presentation proposals (1–2 pages): Presentations may demonstrate tools, present case studies, or report on experiences. They must have a clear knowledge exchange objective and not be reduced to product promotion.
Submission Guidelines
Papers and presentation proposals should be submitted via EasyChair https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=poem2026 (choose the Business Case & Tool forum track). The accepted submissions will be included in a joint companion proceedings for the POEM 2026 satellite events, which shall be submitted to CEUR-WS for online publication.
We welcome submissions that conform to CEURART 1-column format. The initial PDF submission can use the deprecated Word template (http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEURART.zip) but camera-ready drafts of accepted papers will have to use the current CEURART Latex/Overleaf templates:
